Message	...of course, there's the engine displacement, engine construction, fuel type and grade, oil type and grade, condidtion of engine internals, construction and material differences in engine materials, engine piston arrangement and firing order...I mean the list goes on and on... It all comes down to the engineering, materials, and laws that will eventually turn up a number for emissions ratings. I hope this info helps, but I'm sure that there's a lot more to do with it.
